Pet Friendly Airbnb in San Luis Potosi

Pet Friendly Airbnb in San Luis Potosi

San Luis Potosí City, commonly called SLP or simply San Luis, is the capital of the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí.

San Luis Potosí’s historic center has a mixture of architectural styles including colonial architecture.

In 2010, the historic center was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Centro Histórico SLP has many shops and markets where you can buy Mexican handicrafts, fresh produce and pretty much anything else.

Explore the Plaza de Las Armas and walk north along Miguel Hidalgo.

I recommend staying in the Tequisquiapan area of San Luis Potosi.

It is a suburb of SLP city. It is a very clean neighborhood with a bohemian-type vibe that is pet friendly.

In our experience, it is more pet friendly than SLP historic area.

Tequisquiapan has nice wide sidewalks for walking and also wide streets for driving.

Close to where we stayed in Tequisquiapan is a small park called Tequis Jardin (Garden). It is a nice place to stroll with your dog. Lots of green space with benches and trees for shade on a hot day.

There are a variety of cafes and restaurants in the area that are also pet-friendly.

The Tequisquiapan neighborhood is a 15-minute UBER ride to historical center of SLP city.

This is the Airbnb in San Luis Potosi where we stayed with our two dogs, Olivia and Sofia.   I highly recommend this place!
