Pet Friendly Guadalajara Mexico

Where is the best pet-friendly place to stay while visiting Guadalajara?

Guadalajara is a big city and the answer depends on what your plans are while visiting.

Are you there to see the sights or are you just passing through on your way to another place?

Here are the two places we have stayed with our Toy Australian Shepherds – Olivia and Sofia.

  • Seeing the sights – Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel

  • Just passing through – Aloft Hotel

We love staying here when we are in the Guadalajara area for a few days.  It is a comfortable pet friendly place with lots of Mexican charm!

The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have ample counter space. There are purified water dispensers in every room.

The hotel’s Pet Friendly restaurant called TlaquePasta, offers chicken and rice meals for your dog plus delicious Italian food for adults.

Their margaritas are very good too!

There is ample parking on-site in a secure gated area.

The location is ideal for walking to all the shops, restaurants and bars in Tlaquepaque.

Lovely colorful street art dots the entire area which makes dog walking fun.

The entire staff is very warm and welcoming.

I highly recommend QDJ.

These articles are really helping me plan my first trip to Mexico by car (with dogs). Headed from Austin to Manzanillo in the spring and your crossing and hotel info has been the most helpful. Will definitely come back to your page to book hotels through your links 😉 thank you!!
